Despite all the warnings and admonitions in the Bible. “Christendom” throughout the centuries has engaged in persecuting God’s chosen in His name.  The demon seed of Antisemitism lives on; and is on the increase in Europe, aided by multiculturalism, and an abysmal failure to recognize the dangers posed by unfettered Muslim immigration.  Islam has, at their core, always sought to annihilate Israel.  America is NOT innocent in this attitude:

American attitudes towards Jews

Antisemitism in the United States was also indicated by national public opinion polls taken from the mid nineteen thirties to the late nineteen forties. The results showed that over half the American population saw Jews as greedy and dishonest. These polls also found that many Americans believed that Jews were too powerful in the United States. Similar polls were also taken, one of which posed that 35–40 percent of the population was prepared to accept an anti-Jewish campaign.

In a 1938 poll, approximately 60 percent of the respondents held a low opinion of Jews, labeling them “greedy,” “dishonest,” and “pushy.”[24] 41 percent of respondents agreed that Jews had “too much power in the United States,” and this figure rose to 58 percent by 1945. In 1939 a Roper poll found that only thirty-nine percent of Americans felt that Jews should be treated like other people. Fifty-three percent believed that “Jews are different and should be restricted” and ten percent believed that Jews should be deported.[25] Several surveys taken from 1940 to 1946 found that Jews were seen as a greater threat to the welfare of the United States than any other national, religious, or racial group.[26]

KKK: Nazi salute and  Holocaust denial

“History of the Jews in the United States”

In the mid-1600s, Peter Stuyvesant, the last Dutch Director-General of the colony of New Amsterdam, sought to bolster the position of the Dutch Reformed Church by trying to reduce religious competition from denominations such as Jews, Lutherans, Catholics and Quakers. He stated that the Jews were “deceitful”, “very repugnant”, and “hateful enemies and blasphemers of the name of Christ”. He warned in a subsequent letter that in “giving them liberty we cannot (then) refuse the Lutherans and Papists”. However, religious plurality was already a legal-cultural tradition in New Amsterdam and in the Netherlands. His superiors at the Dutch West India Company in Amsterdam overruled him in all matters of intolerance.

In 1939 a Roper poll found that only thirty-nine percent of Americans felt that Jews should be treated like other people. Fifty-three percent believed that “Jews are different and should be restricted” and ten percent believed that Jews should be deported.[30] Several surveys taken from 1940 to 1946 found that Jews were seen as a greater threat to the welfare of the United States than any other national, religious, or racial group. [4] It has been estimated that 190,000 – 200,000 Jews could have been saved during the Second World War had it not been for bureaucratic obstacles to immigration deliberately created by Breckinridge Long and others.

In a speech at an America First rally on September 11, 1941 in Des Moines, Iowa entitled “Who Are the War Agitators?”, Charles Lindbergh claimed that three groups had been “pressing this country toward war”: the Roosevelt Administration, the British, and the Jews – and complained about what he insisted was the Jews’ “large ownership and influence in our motion pictures, our press, our radio and our government.” [32] The antisemitism of Lindbergh is one of the subjects of the novel The Plot Against America (2004) by Philip Roth.

Unofficial antisemitism was also widespread in the first half of the century. For example, to limit the growing number of Jewish students between 1919-1950s a number of private liberal arts universities and medical and dental schools employed Numerus clausus. These included Harvard University, Columbia University, Cornell University, and Boston University[citation needed]. In 1925 Yale University, which already had such admissions preferences as “character”, “solidity”, and “physical characteristics” added a program of legacy preference admission spots for children of Yale alumni, in an explicit attempt to put the brakes on the rising percentage of Jews in the student body. This was soon copied by other Ivy League and other schools[citation needed], and admissions of Jews were kept down to 10% through the 1950s. Such policies were for the most part discarded during the early 1960s.

Some cults also support conspiracy theories regarding Jews as dominating and taking over the world. These cults are often vitriolic and severely anti-semitic. For instance, the Necedah Shrine Cult from the 1950s on to the mid-1980s, has Mary Ann Van Hoof receiving antisemitic “visions” from the Virgin Mary telling her that the Rothschilds, a prominent Jewish banking family, are “mongrel yids(Jews)” bent on dominating the entire world economy through international banking. Most of the worlds problems, from poverty to world wars, are the cause of International Banking Jews and their “satanic secret society,” according to Van Hoof.[5]

American antisemitism underwent a modest revival in the late twentieth century. The Nation of Islam under Louis Farrakhan claimed that Jews were responsible for slavery, economic exploitation of black labor, selling alcohol and drugs in their communities, and unfair domination of the economy. Jesse Jackson issued his infamous “Hymietown” remarks during the 1984 Presidential primary campaign.

According to ADL surveys begun in 1964, African-Americans are “significantly more likely” than white Americans to hold antisemitic beliefs, although there is a strong correlation between education level and the rejection of anti-Semitic stereotypes.[33]

BEHIND THE VEIL :

The Dark Side of Prophet Muhammad

Zaki Ameen was raised a Muslim and once dedicated his life to Islam, working as an Imam. He then realised how the teachings of Muhammad and the Quran were used to deceive followers, in order to gain control, money and power. Living by the Point of My Spear is his book, revealing shocking evidence against Muhammad. This is a video about Muhammad revealing facts that have been hidden for decades about the so called prophet Muhammad. Muhammad murdered Abi Bin Khalaf Bin Wahab, by stabbing him with his spear for personal revenge, he also murdered Amro Bin Umer. This and more is revealed in ‘The Dark side of Muhammad’ by Zaki Ameen, author of Living by the Point of My Spear. More information is available on http://www.myspear.org. The Muhammad video is in English and Arabic.

Israel’s New ‘Cutting Edge’ Airport Security
TEL AVIV, Israel — The Israelis are developing an airport security device that eliminates the privacy concerns that come with full-body scanners. It’s an armored booth you step into that will not X-ray you, but will detonate any explosive device you may have on your person.
Israel sees this as a win-win situation for everyone, with none of this crap about racial profiling. It will also eliminate the costs of long and expensive trials.
You’re in the airport terminal and you hear a muffled explosion.
Shortly thereafter, an announcement: “Attention to all standby passengers, El Al is proud to announce a seat available on flight 670 to London. Shalom!”

WND COMMENTARY

author-imageby Joseph FarahEmail | Archive

Joseph Farah is founder, editor and CEO of WND

I understand why Israel is increasingly hated by the rest of the world.

I really do.

I understand the growing anti-Semitism in America and around the globe.

If you are a Bible-believing Jew or Christian, it’s no mystery.

In fact, it is predicted.

What I don’t get is why some professing Christians reject Israel. For to reject the Jews and their nation state is to reject the very foundation of Christianity. Even to be lukewarm when it comes to the Jews and Israel is to fundamentally reject the olive tree that to which we grafted in as a wild branch, as Romans 11:24 explains.

What many of today’s Christians have witnessed with the rebirth of Israel in their own lifetimes is described in the Bible as a miracle surpassing the parting of the Red Sea, manna from heaven, the giving of the law on Mount Horeb and all the other works of God associated with the Exodus and the entering of the children of Israel into the Promised Land. That’s what we learn in Jeremiah 23:7-8.

Yet an evil doctrine known as Replacement Theology, every bit as ugly as Liberation Theology, has taken root in the church. I’m sorry to say it, but you’ve got to discard or allegorize much of the Bible to adopt either one of these views and still call yourself a Christian.

Meanwhile, Jewish children are being executed in cold blood on videotape in France. Some of the most well-known “Christians” in America are trying to find common ground with Muslims, who they claim worship the same god. Boycotts of Israel are being organized by people who claim to be Christians. The United Nations continues to approve more resolutions against Israel than against all the rest of the world’s nations combined. The world stands by as a nation sworn to annihilate Israel and the world’s Jews prepares to deploy nuclear weapons and delivery systems. And you know the world will condemn Israel if it lifts a finger to protect itself.

I have a problem with all this.

I have a problem because I see too many Christians on the wrong side or standing on the sidelines.

Anti-Semitism is virulent in our world today. It’s reaching proportions not seen since the Third Reich.

Where’s the church?

Obviously not reading the Bible.

The Word of God not only predicted the return of the Jews to Israel, it also predicts the way Jerusalem would become a burdensome stone to the whole world (Zechariah 12:3).

But it also predicts Israel will triumph over all the adversity and that people and nations will be judged on how they treated Israel (Micah 4) – the apple of God’s eye (Zechariah 2:8).

The world hates Israel because its prince hates Israel (John 16:11).

But what about the Christians?

Have they not read their Bible?

Nowhere in its pages does it suggest the “church” has replaced Israel’s promises. In fact, it states unequivocally the opposite. God doesn’t change His mind. He’s the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Christians have their promise only because they have been adopted as the step-children of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob through faith in the Jewish Messiah.

This is a Bible study that easily could be book length. But let me conclude with Isaiah 62:

“For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.”

(That means God is never going to give up on Israel.)

“And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.

“Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

“Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

“For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.

“I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,

“And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

“The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:

“But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.

“Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

“Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

“And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.”

(By the way, Christians, this hasn’t happened yet. And God doesn’t go back on His promises.)

DAVID BARTON, founder and president of Wallbuilders, Inc, has put together damning evidence of the current Administration’s hostility to nearly everything “American” – but especially hostile to the Biblical principles on which our nation was founded. Every statement is documented in the “end notes.”

AMERICA’S MOST BIBLICALLY- HOSTILE U.S. PRESIDENT  David Barton – 02/29/2012 Wallbuilders, Inc (Fully Document With End Notes)

When one observes President Obama’s unwillingness to accommodate America’s four-century long religious conscience protection through his attempts to require Catholics to go against their own doctrines and beliefs, one is tempted to say that he is anti-Catholic. But that characterization would not be correct.

Although he has recently singled out Catholics, he has equally targeted traditional Protestant beliefs over the past four years.  So since he has attacked Catholics and Protestants, one is tempted to say that he is anti-Christian. But that, too, would be inaccurate. He has been equally disrespectful in his appalling treatment of religious Jews in general and Israel in particular.  So perhaps the most accurate description of his antipathy toward Catholics, Protestants, religious Jews, and the Jewish nation would be to characterize him as anti-Biblical.  And then when his hostility toward Biblical people of faith is contrasted with his preferential treatment of Muslims and Muslim nations, it further strengthens the accuracy of the anti-Biblical descriptor.  In fact, there have been numerous clearly documented times when his pro-Islam positions have been the cause of his anti-Biblical actions.

Listed below in chronological order are:

(1) Numerous records of his attacks on Biblical persons or organizations;

(2) Examples of the hostility toward Biblical faith that have become evident in the past three years in the Obama-led military;

(3) A listing of his open attacks on Biblical values; and finally;

(4) A listing of numerous incidents of his preferential deference for Islam’s activities and positions, including letting his Islamic advisors guide and influence his hostility toward people of Biblical faith.

1. Acts Of Hostility Toward People Of Biblical Faith

  • February 2009 – Obama announces plans to revoke conscience protection for health workers who refuse to participate in medical activities that go against their beliefs, and fully implements the plan in February 2011.2
  • April 2009 – When speaking at Georgetown University, Obama orders that a monogram symbolizing Jesus’ name be covered when he is making his speech.3
  • May 2009 – Obama declines to host services for the National Prayer Day (a day established by federal law) at the White House.4

Supreme Court ruled that the cross in the memorial could continue to stand, but the Obama administration refused to allow the land to be transferred as required by law, and refused to allow the cross to be re-erected as ordered by the Court.8
  • February 2011 – Although he filled posts in the State Department, for more than two years Obama did not fill the post of religious freedom ambassador, an official that works against religious persecution across the world; he filled it only after heavy pressure from the public and from Congress.9
  • April 2011 – For the first time in American history, Obama urges passage of a non-discrimination law that does not contain hiring protections for religious groups, forcing religious organizations to hire according to federal mandates without regard to the dictates of their own faith, thus eliminating conscience protection in hiring.10
  • August 2011 – The Obama administration releases its new health care rules that override religious conscience protections for medical workers in the areas of abortion and contraception.11

  • · June 2011 – The Department of Veterans Affairs forbids references to God and Jesus during burial ceremonies at Houston National Cemetery.17
  • August 2011 – The Air Force stops teaching the Just War theory to officers in California because the course is taught by chaplains and is based on a philosophy introduced by St. Augustine in the third century AD – a theory long taught by civilized nations across the world (except America).18
  • · September 2011 – Air Force Chief of Staff prohibits commanders from notifying airmen of programs and services available to them from chaplains.19

  • February 2012 – The Army orders Catholic chaplains not to read a letter to parishioners that their archbishop asked them to read.25

3. Acts Of Hostility Toward Biblical Values:

  • January 2009 – Obama lifts restrictions on U.S. government funding for groups that provide abortion services or counseling abroad, forcing taxpayers to fund pro-abortion groups that either promote or perform abortions in other nations.26
  • January 2009 – President Obama’s nominee for deputy secretary of state asserts that American taxpayers are required to pay for abortions and that limits on abortion funding are unconstitutional.27
  • March 2009 – The Obama administration shut out pro-life groups from attending a White House-sponsored health care summit.28
  • March 2009 – Obama orders taxpayer funding of embryonic stem cell research.29
  • March 2009 – Obama gave $50 million for the UNFPA, the UN population agency that promotes abortion and works closely with Chinese population control officials who use forced abortions and involuntary sterilizations.30
  • May 2009 – The White House budget eliminates all funding for abstinence-only education and replaces it with “comprehensive” sexual education, repeatedly proven to increase teen pregnancies and abortions. 31 He continues the deletion in subsequent budgets.32

  • July 2011 – Obama allows homosexuals to serve openly in the military, reversing a policy originally instituted by George Washington in March 1778.41
  • September 2011 – The Pentagon directs that military chaplains may perform same-sex marriages at military facilities in violation of the federal Defense of Marriage Act.42
  • October 2011 – The Obama administration eliminates federal grants to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops for their extensive programs that aid victims of human trafficking because the Catholic Church is anti-abortion.43

4. Acts Of Preferentialism For Islam:

  • · May 2009 – While Obama does not host any National Day of Prayer event at the White House, he does host White House Iftar dinners in honor of Ramadan.44
  • April 2010 – Christian leader Franklin Graham is disinvited from the Pentagon’s National Day of Prayer Event because of complaints from the Muslim community.45
  • April 2010 – The Obama administration requires rewriting of government documents and a change in administration vocabulary to remove terms that are deemed offensive to Muslims, including jihad, jihadists, terrorists, radical Islamic, etc.46
  • August 2010 – Obama speaks with great praise of Islam and condescendingly of Christianity.47
  • August 2010 – Obama went to great lengths to speak out on multiple occasions on behalf of building an Islamic mosque at Ground Zero, while at the same time he was silent about a Christian church being denied permission to rebuild at that location.48
  • 2010 – While every White House traditionally issues hundreds of official proclamations and statements on numerous occasions, this White House avoids traditional Biblical holidays and events but regularly recognizes major Muslim holidays, as evidenced by its 2010 statements on Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr, Hajj, and Eid-ul-Adha.49
  • October 2011 – Obama’s Muslim advisers block Middle Eastern Christians’ access to the White House.50
  • February 2012 – The Obama administration makes effulgent apologies for Korans being burned by the U. S. military,51 but when Bibles were burned by the military, numerous reasons were offered why it was the right thing to do.52

Many of these actions are literally unprecedented – this is the first time they have happened in four centuries of American history. The hostility of President Obama toward Biblical faith and values is without equal from any previous American president.

A Jewish businessman in Chicago decided to send his son to Israel to absorb some of the culture of the homeland. When the son returned, the father asked him to tell him about his trip.

The son said, “Pop, I had a great time in Israel. By the way, I converted to Christianity.”

“Oy, vey,” said the father. “Vot haf I dun?”

He decided to go ask his friend Jacob what to do.

Jake said, “Funny you should ask. I too sent my son to Israel, and he also came back a Christian. Perhaps we should go see the rabbi and ask him what we should do.”

So they went to see the rabbi.

The rabbi replied, “Funny you should ask. I too sent my son to Israel.

He also came back a Christian. What is happening to our young people?

Perhaps we should go talk to God and ask him what to do.”

The three of them prayed and explained what had happened to their sons and asked God what to do.

Suddenly a voice came loud and clear from Heaven: “Funny you should ask. I, too, sent my Son to Israel.”

If you believe the Bible, as I do, the return of Israel as a nation after 2,000 years is a greater miracle than all that occurred during the Exodus.

That’s what God says in Jeremiah 16:14-15:

“Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

“But, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers.”

Say “This generation shall not pass”    !  “X”

Think about that.

The reformation of the nation of Israel 64 years ago and the ingathering of dispersed Jews from all over the world is a greater miracle than all of the following:

  • the parting of the Red Sea;
  • the manna from heaven;
  • the water from rocks;
  • the giving of the law on Sinai.

I don’t think most Christians and Jews in the 21st century fully appreciate what it means to be witnesses to such an awesome miracle.

Sometimes when we read the Bible we scoff at the blindness of the ancient people to what was happening at the time. But I think we’re just as guilty as they were – if not more so.

The miracle of the ingathering is greater than the miracles of the Exodus. That’s not what I say. That’s what the Lord says. And it’s a miracle we have been privileged to experience firsthand. But that privilege comes with a responsibility – a responsibility to recognize what God is doing and to get behind that mighty work.

Don’t miss Farah’s brand new documentary based on the best-selling book “The Harbinger” — “The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment: Is There An Ancient Mystery That Foretells America’s Future>”

We have too many Christians in America today who don’t get that. They are not standing with the children of Israel, our brethren whose covenant we experience and share by virtue of bring grafted in, as Paul explains in the book of Romans.

Christians who don’t appreciate their connection to this miracle are Christians who ultimately don’t appreciate the gift of salvation and the redemption offered to the whole world. They don’t fully appreciate who their Lord and Savior is – why He came and that He’s coming again!

They don’t appreciate where He’s coming.

He’s not coming to Washington, D.C., to rule the world. He’s coming to Jerusalem.

When and why is He coming? He’s coming at a time when Israel is facing disaster, and He’s coming to save Israel.

Replacement theology is not only a dangerous theology. It is a shallow one – one that tried to render most of the Bible as irrelevant and portray God as a covenant breaker who changes His mind and even His personality.

But today much of the church is confused about who we are as believers and the rich biblical heritage that serves as the foundation for our faith and our hope.

Some Christians aren’t sure our Savior is coming back at all – let alone that He’s coming back to Israel to save it and preserve it.

Some Christians are confused about whether the modern miracle of Israel is truly a manifestation of prophecy at all.

Some Christians even see more connection between their faith and Islam than they do between their faith and Judaism, even though Christianity makes no sense except in the context of the messianic promise from the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

It would behoove all of us as believers to read and study the rich and abundant scriptures dealing with the Second Coming, because I suspect there will be believers unprepared and caught unawares.

Many people missed His first coming because they were looking for a conquering king. I suspect many Christians will not recognize the conquering king when He returns because they will be looking instead for the suffering servant.

What is Yeshua going to do when He returns?

The Bible tells us He’s going to mete out justice. His garments are going to be stained in blood. He’s going to destroy nations. He’s going to enforce His will with a rod of iron.

Are we prepared for that Yeshua?

He’s going to judge individuals and nations, as we learn in Matthew 25. The nations will be divided into sheep nations and goat nations largely on the basis of how they treated His precious Israel.

He will bless those that bless thee and curse those that curse thee.

Our Christian faith – and our very redemption – is constructed on a foundation of promise by the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Without an understanding and appreciation of that connection, our faith doesn’t even make sense. Our savior did not just spring up spontaneously one day in Bethlehem 2,000 years ago without expectation. He came as the long-awaited Jewish messiah, the King of the Jews, out of the line of David, and He will eventually rule on David’s throne for 1,000 years in the future.

By the way, He didn’t come to start a new religion called Christianity. He came to fulfill the law and the prophets and offer Jews and non-Jews alike salvation.

If you believe the Bible is the inerrant word of God, you will also acknowledge that when He returns you and I and other believers are going to be keeping the Sabbath and observing the Feast of Tabernacles. We will be visiting Jerusalem regularly – and if we don’t we won’t get any rain. I think some Christians are going to be shocked at just how Israeli-centric our life will be in the millennial kingdom.

How many Christians in America today really understand just how Jewish our Savior and our God really is? He won’t be eating ham sandwiches at the church potluck.

How many of us will recognize Him when He returns?
